@amishnation Yeah, man. We should stop using banks altogether. Let's show those banks. How about we all take money out of our savings accounts and loan? it to Terry Hoskins so he can buy an new house and carpet business. Thumbs up if you want to bypass the banks and loan money directly to the guy in the video. We won't even ask for collateral or credentials, like those fucking banks do.

@andrewfeazelle Well said sir. This man made an emotional decision, after he failed to solve a financial problem using his noggin, a few years before his foreclosure. I'd like to know the real details of the story. For example if the IRS put a lien against his property, why is the bank involved? The bank probably paid his taxes so they wouldn't loose their position as 1st lien holder against his business loan. I? guess he used his house as collateral against his business loan too.

He had 190,000 equity in his home. He could have sold the home, taken that 190,000 dollars, rented a smaller home, paid the IRS the taxes he owes to his country and his fellow Americans, and saved his business (or put himself in a good place to revamp, or? sell his business).

Huh? This doesn't make sense. If a man finds that his business expenses are exceeding his business income, and that this trend is likely to project into the future, then he should either scale back, if possible, discontinue the business and liquidate, if possible, and if not, then file for bankruptcy. But what do we find? A man whose business expenses are exceeding his income, who has decided to stop? paying his taxes to the IRS, therefore dodging his responsibility to his country.

@fenderjagmeister You can't get a 350,000 mortgage if making minimum wage. Many of these people's jobs were probably taken overseas so that their bosses could pay workers 30 cents an hour and rape them. But it may? just be the best thing if people do stop using banks altogether.

He probably got mtg loan when bnks where? told not 2 verify income per CRA. He probably couldn't afford it didnt want bank 2 take bck Bank property. When u borrow $, u don't own it until u pay it off. Same for car loans. 2 many of us have the entitlement mentality. Its mine, you owe me, the bank owes me. 2 many Americans don't want to take responsibility-can I really afford property, car, or whatever with loan. Be adults here, u sign papers that say, if u cant pay, u lose it. You all know this.
