@nitojo7 read a few history books and you'll know that a lot of people that worked on the manhattan project already told about who they are and a bit about what they did. the moon landing hoax won't be as easy to cover up since it'd be easy to find out that it's a hoax, but even scientific criticism and general common sense have repeatedly proven that the moon landings happened. you haven't gone to the link haven't you? barely anyone associates it with the cold war except you, as far as i know.

@ASubHumanOfSociety I meant moon landing haux, that was nothing more than scientist trying to build better rockets for the ICBM program. Just take a look at the manhattan project- thousand of workers and scientist/ engineers working for years to create the A-bomb. the Manhattan project was kept secret from the U.S. puplic for over 40 years, no one, including the people how worked on it never talked to the media of there jobs. The Apollo program is the same hush-hush secret no one talks about.

@nitojo7 I didn't say that it didn't influence weapons technology, but the fact that the moon landings were successful and that it is possible to shoot a man up into space and beyond the bounds of our Earth's gravitational field did impact weapons technology. You aren't exactly proving that the moon landings were faked here,you're even saying that the moon landings' success influenced missile systems,which wouldn't be surprising.

To the U.S. of the 60's was all about communist invaders, spies and A-bombs raining on the country front door. Every day school kid would say the pledge of allegiance and then do A-bomb rade excerises, hiding under desks. Titan class ICBM and minuteman/ nike systems came from NASA programs. checkmate

@nitojo7 And as I said, the moon landings have been searched and found recently by today's astronauts, the rock found on the moon have been scanned by several scientists already, and they STILL find that nothing there resembles rocks from the Earth (but you can say they were just mocked up in the lab, wow, that's BS). Think of it this way: The fact that they sent man to the moon buttfucked the Russians, made new theories and answered old Q's, instead of a hoax that would have got them (1/2)

@nitojo7 That just isn't the case because the US at the time was too concerned with getting "fans" than making threats, and it served them well because despite the lack of weapons capability compared to the Russians, the US already studied (and even lost crewmen) to make the moon landings possible, and it's tough to doubt because it just doesn't seem reasonable, even for THEM to make a moon landing hoax when the 1960's had the potential to do the real thing.

@nitojo7 It's more widely accepted than your theory that it's all Cold War fantasy, because there was no evidence at all that this was used as propaganda. It's been more than half a century since the first successful moon landing and no trace of damning, DAMNING evidence ever showed up, like a controversial paper from the scientific community with ties to the president at the time. Some lucky bastard should have found at least ONE by now, as with most other controversies.

@nitojo7 First of all, as I said, both are just dicks. Secondly, most of the threatening weapons stuff was what comprised most of the propaganda. That's a reason why no actual bloodshed ever ensued. I don't believe the moon program was an attempt to wage war, but rather a "tribute" to what JFK wanted, and certainly it's because of the issues of the Cold War that stopped the successful Apollo program, not the Apollo program being used as a hoax. People HAVE landed on the moon.

@ASubHumanOfSociety All I know is that NASA has been a waste of money since its creation. The military failed to beat the russians ICBM technology, so they created a non-military/ civilian firm and called it NASA. The U.S. was shitting there pants when USSR's Spunik was shot around the world, not as a scientific project, but as a weapons platform. Nasa then was just trying to catch up, but russia was ahead every time. The haux was created to ease the minds of U.S. citizens how feared the A bomb.

@ASubHumanOfSociety the space race was a Arms race, both sides showing there nations rocket technology, to shoot a heavy pay load on the moon was telling russia, that america could put a Nuke in any spot on the world. Later when the cold war ended U.S. ICBM were found to only have half the ability to hit northern russia. The Air force and the Army both failed to create a ICBM in that time, mean while USSR was mass producing ICBMs and distributing them to all there allies. The Haux saved the US.

@nitojo7 That's 'cause they were unmanned and nothing really was controlling them which is why they crashed into the moon, hence Apollo 12's mission to recover some of the parts from the Surveyor, and that's how they got there: they were manned and got to control their descent.
